The ‘Golsmedia FutbolFest 2022’ awards recognize this Monday the best of non-professional football

The Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas (Madrid) will be the scene this coming Monday of the celebration of the ‘Prenios Golsmedia FutbolFest 2022’, the great annual meeting of all categories of non-professional Spanish men’s and women’s football.

As reported by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), which collaborates in these awards, this event will reward the most outstanding players from the past 2021-22 season, as well as coaches, from Primera RFEF, Second RFEF, Third RFEF, Junior Honor Division, First Iberdrola, Iberdrola Challenge and First Women’s National. All of them are non-professional categories, except for the Primera Iberdrola, now renamed Liga F and now professional in nature.

There will also be a delivery of special prizes to outstanding personalities of Spanish football such as former players David Villa, Pepe Reina and Álvaro Arbeloa, the Women’s FC Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid, the Women’s Under-20 and Under-17 teams, who will be they have proclaimed world champions in 2022 and TVE, and a tribute will also be paid with an award in their memory to the family of José Manuel Llaneza, vice president of Villarreal who died last month.

Under the motto ‘United for a dream, the meeting will also have a prelude in which the focus will be on the World Cup in Qatar.
