Ferran Torres is calm and confident. “I’m very happy, the coach trusts me a lot and I’m calm in front of the goal. We have to work and the results will come. I’m on the way”, explained the Barcelona attacker. The international took the opportunity to vindicate himself. “Everything is being focused in front of the goal and I’m bringing more things to the team. I’m an outfield player and associating with my teammates is also important.” And he added: “When one enters, they will all enter, you have to be positive,” he played down.
He arrived in winter and his role is being key, being an untouchable footballer for Xavi. “It is clear that Barça has a very large media weight. You have to take each match, each training session as something natural,” he explained when asked if the Barça shirt is especially heavy. He’s also not worried about how much they paid for him. “I hadn’t even thought about it. This is football. I have the same self-confidence. I play without pressure and have fun.”
In this sense, he does not care what position to play as long as he can contribute to the team. “When I came I was already playing more as a striker than as a winger at City. Now I’m playing as a winger in a 4-3-3 and I’ve already done so at City”, although he pointed out that “I’m more comfortable as a winger, but I can adapt to any attacking position”.
Ambitious and eager for titles
Ferran Torres does not rule out the League. “When you come to Barça you know you have to fight to win everything. Until a rival wins the title, we’re going to fight”. And he acknowledged that the Europa League is a title that makes the locker room especially exciting: “The Europa League is an important competition for us, we have to go to win it. The tie against Napoli was a turning point because the results were what They were. We have a very young team, with some veterans. We are Barça and I think we are turning the situation around. We are here to take a step forward and do cool things”.
He also remembered his episode in Naples, when he cried with rage after drawing at the Camp Nou. He scored from a penalty but missed several times. “It was a bit frustrating. I like to score goals, help the team” and he thanked the Barcelona fans for their affection.
Ferran Torres is not yet 100 percent. He is picking up pace after several months stopped. “I had an injury that left me out. Thanks to all the people who have worked, the invisible training that stood out, I’m better but I’m still picking up the rhythm of games. I’m getting better little by little and very happy to be at Barça and having minutes “.

The Valencian player did not want to miss the event held at the Auditori 1899 of iNuba, a startup in the health sector that uses objective metrics to the user to provide a quality and individualized service. Finally, Ferran entered electronically but wanted to accompany the project in which he participates and which was born in Foios, the same municipality where he grew up. “I am very excited, it helps me grow and everything that helps me with your physical condition is very important to have.” Moreover, Ferran Torres explained that it is vital to opt for this tool that generates information that helps you improve and get the most out of your preparation. “I am a young player and I can recover faster, but you look at the long term, to start preventing as soon as possible. We have many games and little recovery time. You need professional and technological help”, he admitted.
