The Generalitat Valenciana will open a file to Real Madrid player Marcelo Vieira for skipping the perimeter closure and is going to propose that he be penalized, after the footballer uploaded a photo to his Instagram account with his family on the walk seafront of La Malvarrosa beach in Valencia.
Sources from the Presidency of the Generalitat have indicated to EFE that they consider that the attitude of the Brazilian international is “unsupportive“and uncivil”.
The breach of the perimeter closure of the Valencian Community could be sanctioned based on Decree Law 11/2020 of the sanctioning regime against non-compliance with the measures against Covid-19.
Failure to a general confinement order decreed is a minor offense provided for in article 5.5 of the decree law, which they are sanctioned with amounts ranging from 60 to 600 euros.
It could also be proposed penalty also for not wearing the mask, which is mandatory in public spaces. This proposed penalty is set at an amount of 100 euros.
