The flamenco night of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, an absolute fan of Vicky Martín Berrocal with this ‘wrap’ dress

Flamenco fashion night, with Andalusian DNA, polka dots and ruffles. The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has been the main protagonist of SIMOF and one of the winners in the largest fashion event with a flamenco accent that has returned to Madrid this year.

From this October 10 until next Thursday the 12th, the Wellington Hotel in the capital has become a catwalk. Established and debuting designers present more than 1,700 designs, turning the Spanish capital into the center of Andalusian fashion (in the photo, with Raquel Revuelta).

The opening night was attended by Ayuso, who wore a dress by her favorite designer, Vicky Martín Berrocal. It is a piece by Victoria, Vicky’s signature, in a two-tone key, black and pearl grey, with a cross cut. It is fitted at the hips and waist to give a wrap effect and wears a top with a strapless neckline. The Madrid president has tied up her hair to highlight her earrings.

More than 40 shows with details of bright colors and lace make up this year’s lineup. After 28 editions at the Seville Congress Palace, the International Flamenco Fashion Week, SIMOF, returns to Madrid.

At the inaugural gala of SIMOF Madrid, Ayuso, Ana Rosa Quintana and India Martínez have been honored with the Flamenco en la Piel Awards, for their special commitment to flamenco, Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2010. Raquel Revuelta has made awards ceremony.

One of the novelties of SIMOF has been the first edition of the Aromas Solidarios Awards, which has gone to the Sandra Ibarra Foundation, led by former model Sandra Ibarra. This award aims to recognize national and international people or institutions dedicated to promoting the common good.
