In addition, the clubs also visited local teams such as the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers.

The LaLiga Summer Tour complements LaLiga North America’s strategy of expanding the fan base of the competition, and of the clubs, in the United States and Mexico; particularly attracting a young and multicultural following. In association with Relevent Sports, the leading soccer media and events company in North America, the LaLiga Summer Tour has been the largest and most comprehensive tour ever organized outside of Spain.

The CEO of LaLiga North America, Boris Gartner, explained that this first edition of the LaLiga Summer Tour serves to “verify the passion with which the matches are lived” by clubs outside of Spain. “It is a key action to demonstrate and reinforce the international expansion of LaLiga, both in Mexico and the United States, which represent two strategic territories for the majority of LaLiga clubs. We will continue to move forward to bring the competition even closer to our fans and to continue building actions so that the best of the clubs in North America can be experienced,” he said.
