There are ten professionals linked to women’s football as former players or who have worked in their clubs
MADRID, 9 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The F League has incorporated into its structure ten match directors who will attend the First Division matches of the Finetwork Liga F starting on matchday 12, where they will observe and audit the facilities and internal protocols of the clubs to detect weaknesses and aspects to be improved, and be available to the teams to resolve doubts.
After the classification of women’s soccer as a professional sport, the F League is working on “standardization” and “homogenization” to improve the image and audiovisual perception of the competition, it said in a statement.
The main function of the match directors will be to collect data on the state of the facilities and protocols and help improve this image and audiovisual perception.
The president of Liga F, Beatriz Álvarez, held a meeting with the party directors during their training sessions. Elisa Álvarez, Tere Sauri, Mari José Pons, Amaia Huerta, Vanesa García, Paloma Fernández, Vanesa Gimbert, Raquel Esteban, Noemí Sánchez and Paula Nicart will be the ten match directors of the F League, all of them linked to women’s football, as well as mostly ex-soccer players, or as professionals who have worked in soccer clubs.
