Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz, has been the victim of an assault worthy of a movie at the doors of the Armani hotel, in Milan, this Sunday, September 3. The thieves snatched a watch valued at 250,000 euros from the Madrid Ferrari driver. However, Sainz managed to catch up with one of the robbers and, eventually, all those who participated in the assault were arrested.
Around 8:30 p.m., the three thieves approached Carlos Sainz, who was with his manager, his cousin Carlos Oñoro. One of them snatched a 25,000 euro Richard Mille Alexander Zverev watch from his left wrist.
“The Formula 1 driver, who was in the manager’s car, tried to block the escape of the three thieves. He then abandoned the car and, with the help of passersby, managed to stop a thief in via Pietro Verri,” says the Milan Police through a press release.

In the same way, police sources say: “The second of the thieves was stopped in Via della Spiga by the manager and cousin of the Ferrari driver. The third was stopped not far away by another member of staff with the collaboration of passers-by. “.
The police, who have communicated all the details of the assault, have concluded: “Police officers from the General Directorate of Prevention went promptly to the place and arrested the three robbers, who were 18, 19 and 20 years old.”
