The Spanish Basketball Federation and Endesa will celebrate this Monday an act of tribute to the nine national teams that have won a total of nine medals this past summer in international championships.
The organization and its sponsoring partner want to recognize all the teams that signed a historic summer, led by the Absolute team that won the continental title. In addition, in the different training categories, another three golds and five silvers were won, two of them in World Cups.
In this event will be the captain of the senior men’s team, Rudy Fernández, the U-20 player, Begoña de Santiago; the U-18 player Ariadna Termis, Iyana Martín and Lucas Langarita, from the U-17, Carla Osma and Felipe Díaz from the U-16; Joaquín Prado, the Under-20 men’s coach, and Manolo Aller, coordinator of the Men’s Training Teams. Jorge Garbajosa, president of the FEB, and Jose Bogas, CEO of Endesa, will also be present.
