BARCELONA, 7 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The F1 Academy, the new women’s championship under the umbrella of Formula 1, will be present at the 6 Hours of Barcelona by Spirit of Montjuïc within the program of activities that will take place on the weekend of May 20 and 21 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalonia.
According to the organization of the Spirit of Montjuïc, the F1 Academy is an “ambitious project” of Formula 1 that was born as a training and filming platform for female drivers on their way to the highest level of motorsport: F1 itself.
With the presence of the F1 Academy, the event organized by Escudería Targa Iberia at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will also feature the ‘6 hours of Barcelona’ for Touring Cars, GT and Sports, the ‘Regional Formula European Championship by Alpine’ and the ‘Cup Racer’ (Modern Minis).
