The staff of the Extremadura UD, who militates in the Group 1 of the First RFEF, has adopted this Tuesday the decision to convene a strike before the “very serious breaches of payment of their salaries that they have been living for months, “according to the statement issued in this regard by the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE), which “fully” supports the demands of players and coaches.
According to the union’s statement, the Extremadura club owes its professionals six monthly payments, being the last one that they received the one corresponding to the month of April.
AFE assures the “lack of solutions contributed by those responsible for the club “as well as the”unkept promises“. The strike has been called for the days 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 of November 2021 between 00:00 and 24:00 of each of them.
The strike will consist, according to the AFE note, in the “total cessation of the provision of services, compromising the non-performance of training and other preparatory technical and sports activities, affecting even to any official competition match that was foreseen corresponding to the National League Championship “.
