Married to Antonio Matos Since 2006, Carita She had been experiencing intense pain for several weeks (months), not only because she had to say goodbye to her father, to whom she was very close, but also because she had discovered that her husband had fathered a child out of wedlock.
“She recently found out that her husband had a son out of wedlock,” Pilar Vidal said. “Cari was extremely upset when she found out, as was the case for the rest of her family, but the latest news was that they were going to make it public, that they were going to recognise this person, with whom they already had contact.” She added: “They wanted to make it normal, a bit like what happened to Carlos Baute. It’s okay, there are people who don’t recognise it at the moment and it takes a while. And that’s what they were going to do when the grief over the father’s death had subsided a bit.”
It should be remembered that Cari and Antonio Matos married in 2008 in Ibiza and were parents of two children, Pedro (13) and mini Cari (10). They had gone through a strong crisis that they did not want to make public and during which, he had another relationship, from which a son was born. Despite the circumstances and difficulties, they bet on their marriage, they reconciled and now they were in a good moment: “They were very close and they were happy,” they say.
