The Higher Sports Council (CSD) has called elections for the presidency and vice-presidency of the Professional Women’s Soccer League (LPFF) after this Thursday the body’s Electoral Commission was established.
“According to the provisions of the Statutes of the Professional Women’s Soccer League (LPFF), approved by the CSD Board of Directors on March 14, 2022, and after the agreement to call elections for the presidency and vice-presidency adopted by the Founding Commission of the LPFF, today the Electoral Commission of the LPFF has been formally constituted,” the CSD reported in a statement.
By virtue of the statutes and “for the purpose of giving adequate publicity to the electoral procedure”, the electoral commission declared “the process of election to the presidency and vice-presidency of the LPFF has started today. The deadline for the presentation of candidacies of 5 working days foreseen in the Statutes will be from May 13 to 20, 2022, both inclusive”.
“That the number of endorsements from the member clubs and SAD that must present the candidacies for the presidency and vice-presidency is a minimum of four (4) endorsements, which must meet the requirements established in the Statutes,” adds the CSD, which It also makes available to the candidates the application model to present themselves.

Said address has been established as “a means of communication between the interested parties and the electoral commission and will be the channel to be used for the presentation of candidacies, resources and for any other electoral actions.”
