The CSD approves the calendar proposed by the Liga F clubs

MADRID, 13 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Higher Sports Council (CSD) approved this Tuesday the calendar proposed by the Liga F clubs for the First Division of Women’s Football during the upcoming 2024/2025 season, ending the competition on May 18, 2025, before the finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) and the Copa de la Reina.

The CSD has thus announced its decision and has voted in favour of the proposal approved by the Liga F clubs at its General Assembly, which was held on 28 June. “The First Division will start on the weekend of 7-8 September and will not have any midweek matches, except for the recovery of the matches postponed due to the coincidence with the UWCL,” Liga F indicated in a press release.

The same press release stated that Liga F and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) “are in coordination to determine the date of the draw for the pairings” of said league championship, which “will take place in the near future.”
