“The Valencia Basket-Gran Canaria CB match, scheduled for this coming Monday, January 3 at 9:30 p.m. and corresponding to matchday 16 of the Endesa League, is postponed due to the situation of COVID-19 that affects the Canarian squad”, announced the ACB in a statement.
The Canarian club confirmed this same Sunday that in the last PCR carried out “three members of the team” had tested positive for COVID-19. “Those affected, some with mild symptoms, are isolated in their homes according to the protocol of the health authorities,” he reported.
In this way, the coronavirus pandemic has forced the suspension of all matches on the sixteenth day of the domestic competition, a situation that is repeated in the Italian and Greek leagues.
