The champion Real Madrid welcomes Girona in the opening duel of the Endesa League 22/23

On Monday, January 2, 2023, at the WiZink, the first Clásico will be played

MADRID, 9 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Endesa League already has a full calendar for its Regular Phase, which will be played from September 28 to May 21, with an outstanding opening duel between the recently promoted Bàsquet Girona against the current champion Real Madrid in Fontajau.

There will be three days in ten calendar days that will give rhythm to an Endesa League that on its first day also includes the duel between BAXI Manresa and Lenovo Tenerife, which will repeat the last final of the Basketball Champions League (BCL).

The first round, which will decide the participants in the Copa del Rey (it will be held from February 16 to 19 in Badalona), ends on January 21 and 22, while the Regular Phase will close between May 20 and 21 , giving way to the Endesa League Playoff (from May 25).

The first Clasico between Real Madrid and Barça will be at Madrid’s WiZink Center on January 2, 2023, while the Palau Blaugrana will host the second duel between eternal rivals on Sunday, April 16.

There will be emotional comebacks. One of the first and most important will be on matchday 3 when Álex Mumbrú, the new coach of Valencia Basket, visits Miribilla’s old house and his fans in the duel against Surne Bilbao Basket.

And if the Classic on January 2 will be the first match of the new year in the competition, the last duel of 2022 will be the BAXI Manresa-Bàsquet Girona, at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, in a new-wedge Catalan derby.
