The Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race announced this Thursday its official calendar for 2025, which will start on March 23 in Gran Canaria and will consist of nine events spread throughout the Spanish territory, according to a statement.
The ‘Pink Tide’, which has brought together more than 100,000 women in 2024, will have its first event next year on Sunday, March 23 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, for the fourth consecutive year. Just one week later, Valencia will host the second test (March 30). On May 11 it will be the turn of the Madrid Women’s Race, which will exceed 35,000 participants.
As is traditional, two other races will be held in June, Vitoria-Gasteiz, on the 1st, and Gijón, on June 8. After the summer break, A Coruña will mark the start of the second part of the season of the Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race on September 21. And the test will arrive on October 19 in Zaragoza.
Afterwards, again more than 35,000 participants will meet in the Barcelona test on November 16, and the final point of the national circuit will be Seville on November 23, the finishing touch to a year in which they will surpass themselves in In more than two decades of history, two million euros have been donated to different causes of research and the fight against cancer, social and sports movements in a feminine key.
Registration for these nine races will open soon on the official website www.carreradelamujer.com. “Parallel activities will be promoted at the previous runner’s fairs and the fun and crowded post-race fitness and aerobics festivals will continue,” the organization reported.
The national circuit of the Central Lechera Asturiana 2024 Women’s Race has had the main sponsorship of Central Lechera Asturiana, Oysho and Banco Santander, along with TotalEnergies and Marlene. Volvo has been the official vehicle of the circuit and Renfe the official train, with the collaboration of Druni, Nestlé Fitness and Daiichi-Sankyo Astrazeneca and with the support of the city councils of all the cities on the circuit.
