As reported by El País this Friday, Malick Dembélé, Ousmane's uncle, has been detained by the Barcelona Urban Guard for presenting false documentation after the vehicle he was driving (an electric Audi) I know caught fire. The events occurred in the Ronda de Dalt, the ring road of the upper part of Barcelona.
Several drivers alerted the Urban Guard that a vehicle that was driving around the Ronda de Dalt fired sparks until it began to burn. Firefighters have come to put out the flames and The Guàrdia Urbana has asked Malick Dembélé for personal and vehicle documentation, which would have presented false documentation. Malick was driving alone in the car. Malick Dembélé lives in Barcelona with Ousmane and with Moustapha Diatta, childhood friend of the Barça winger.
