The Atlético de Madrid Foundation and Toys ‘R’ Us collaborate in a new donation of toys to children admitted to the Children’s Pediatric Area of 10 hospitals in the Community of Madrid, a solidarity initiative that seeks to provoke a smile in the little ones at Christmas and highlight the importance of play.
La Paz Hospital, Gregorio Marañón Hospital, Jiménez Díaz Foundation, Niño Jesús University Hospital, Ramón y Cajal Hospital, San Carlos Clinical Hospital, 12 de Octubre Hospital, San Rafael Hospital, Príncipe de Asturias University Hospital and the Montepríncipe University Hospital have been the centers where the boys and girls have received the gifts.
In addition, families and children in a vulnerable situation at the Atlético de Madrid School in Alcalá del Valle, in Cádiz – the first grassroots social school to integrate into society through sports – have received a supply of toys.
In total, more than 700 children will enjoy early childhood toys, stuffed animals, board games, dolls or vehicles and will experience unique moments in one of the most special times of the year for all children.
