The Atlético de Madrid Foundation and Coca-Cola have presented their collaboration agreement this Friday to promote initiatives that protect the environment and favor the sustainability of the planet, according to a statement from the rojiblanca entity.
“The Cívitas Metropolitano hosted the presentation of the agreement signed between the Atlético de Madrid Foundation and Coca-Cola, by virtue of which we will collaborate mutually in the different initiatives promoted by both entities aimed at protecting the environment and favoring the sustainability of the planet “, reported the Madrid team.
The Atlético de Madrid Foundation has been working on the ‘Cleaning of Inland Seas’ initiative for two years as “one of the strategic pillars of action” to “safeguard river ecosystems” and ensure that they flow cleanly into the seas.
The project started in the Madrid municipalities of Pelayos de la Presa and San Martín de Valdeiglesias, with the support of the respective municipalities, now has a greater identity with the Fundación Atlético de Madrid-Coca-Cola alliance, which has been successfully developing the ‘Circular Seas’ project.
Both entities will promote actions to raise awareness, cleaning and conservation of rivers, swamps, seas, with specific actions involving the “committed volunteers of both organizations and other entities”.
