The Royal Spanish Handball Federation (RFEBM) has announced on Tuesday the Spanish beach handball calendar in the face of this summer, with a total of five stops in the ‘Arena Handball Tour’ of which four of the headquarters are already known; Vilanova I La Geltrú (Barcelona), La Manga del Mar Menor (Murcia), Cádiz and Laredo (Cantabria), plus a headquarters in a population of Pontevedra (Galicia) still to be confirmed.
The new season of the ‘Arena Handball Tour’ will begin for the second consecutive year in Catalonia, after the “organizational success” of the last edition, with the 1000 Arena de Vilanova I the Geltrú from June 13 to 15.
The second summer stop will be in the Region of Murcia, specifically on the beach of Puerto Bello de la Manga del Mar Menor, with the Master 1000 dispute on June 21 and 22. An appointment that will serve as a previous one for the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Selections, which will be held from June 23 to 25.
Galicia will return this summer to ‘Arena Handball Tour’, specifically from July 4 to 6, in a headquarters that is still unconfirmed, but whose celebration will be in the province of Pontevedra, at the expense of announcing the town that will host this fourth stop of the 2025 calendar.
The circuit will have a new appointment in Cádiz, from July 18 to 20, on the beach of La Victoria that last year hosted by the Spanish Handball Championship. It will be the prelude to the last test of the Global Tour for the Hispanics and Warriors of the Arena.
The 2025 season of the ‘Arena Handball Tour’ will end in Laredo (Cantabria), from July 31 to August 3 at Salvé Beach, which will host the Spanish Handball Championship 2025, a tournament that last year welcomed in Cádiz more than 280 teams and 2,500 athletes.
