The American Chloe Dygert, new time trial world champion

MADRID, 10 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The American cyclist Chloe Dygert (Canyon SRAM Racing) has won the Women’s World Time Trial, held over 36.2 kilometers, starting and finishing in the Scottish town of Stirling, achieving the rainbow for the second time after achieving it in 2019, and with the two Spanish representatives away from noble positions.

The Brownsburg rider claimed gold by more than five seconds over Australia’s Grace Brown (FDJ Suez), while the bronze went to Austria’s Christina Schweinberger (Fenix-Deceunick), who finished 1:12 behind Dygert.

For their part, the Spanish cyclists did not shine excessively and Sandra Alonso (Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling) and Sara Martín (Movistar Team) finished in 42nd position, at 5:35 minutes, and 43rd, at 5:40, respectively.
