The Alicante Ferrero Challenger presents a luxury frame

The Alicante Ferrero Challenger of the JC Ferrero Equelite Tennis Academy will be played this year from October 10 to 17. The Alicante international tennis tournament presents a very attractive picture. In fact, it is the toughest box in its history in terms of ranking. Topping the list is the eighth finalist of the US OPEN Oscar Otte, the Finn and 84 of the ATP ranking Emil ruusuvuori, and the Valencian and current 59 ATP Pedro Martínez-Goalkeeper.

Pedro is the main favorite to win a title that has resisted him the last two years in which he was a finalist. In the last edition, Pedro succumbed to the current champion and already one of the greatest Spanish promises Carlos Alcaraz. Another of the great attractions of the tournament will be the new director of the Davis Cup: Fernando Verdasco will compete in the tournament with the aim of returning to the world Top100.

The tournament will open its doors to the public again this year, after doing so partially due to Covid-19 the previous year. Tickets are available as every year on the official website of the tournament: www.ferrerochallenger.equelite.com.

The tournament thus begins its fourth uninterrupted edition despite the pandemic with an important change, the surface. This year the tournament will be played on hard surface instead of dirt, adapting to the surface that prevails in this phase of the season in Europe.
