The AFE Foundation launches this Tuesday the third edition of its solidarity auction

The AFE Foundation launches this Tuesday the third edition of its great solidarity auction, starting at 2:00 p.m., when you can bid on high-value products donated by different personalities from the world of sports and culture through its page website, according to a statement.

Juan Carlos Unzué, former soccer player and former coach diagnosed with ALS in 2020, sponsors this initiative, the proceeds of which will be used entirely to support projects promoted by FUNDELA (Spanish Foundation for the Promotion of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Research) for research into this disease .

“Feeling useful makes us feel alive. This is essential for everyone, not just for ALS patients,” said Juan Carlos Unzué, in statements to AFE.

In the auction, which will last until Tuesday, January 3, 2023, it will be possible to bid on valuable objects donated by relevant personalities from the world of football, sports and other fields, with the intention of raising “as much as possible for the fight against ALS”.

Among the collaborators of the AFE solidarity auction are Juan Carlos Unzué, Robert Lewandowski, Sergi Roberto, Koke, Borja Iglesias, Álvaro Morata, Cholo Simeone, Lothar Matthäus, Iker Casillas, Michel Salgado, Marta Ortega, Ale Galán, John Rahm, Alex Dujshebaev, Willy Hernangómez, Alejandro Valverde, Carlos Alcaraz or Cristina Gutiérrez.

In the first two editions of the great solidarity auction, held the previous Christmas, a total collection of 25,646 euros was obtained for the fight against cancer and child hunger.
