The ACB opens the popular vote to elect the ‘MVP’ and the ‘Best Quintet’ of the Endesa League

MADRID, 26 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The ACB announced this Tuesday that it has already opened the popular vote to choose the ‘MVP Movistar’ of the Endesa League 2021-22 and the two best quintets of the season through ‘Twitter’, ‘Instagram’ and the official application of the association.

To designate these awards, the votes of the players, coaches, fans and journalists will count, and each one will account for 25 percent of the total result. In this sense, the popular vote will be available from this Tuesday until Friday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. and, in addition, it can be followed in real time through ‘mvpmovistar.acb.com’.

Those who wish to participate can do so through ‘Twitter’ by sending a tweet with the hashtag #MVPMovistar followed by the name of the player they wish to vote for or their ‘Twitter’ account, if any. Retweets also add up, so everyone who shares the message counts, and the only condition to be able to count the vote is that the account must be public.

You can also vote on the official ‘Instagram’ of the ACB (@acbcom), where all the votes that arrive with the hashtag #MVPMovistar will be collected in the comments of the publications about the award, and on the official ‘app’ of the association, entering the ‘MVP Movistar’ section, accessing the vote and choosing your favorite player.

Finally, it can also be done through ‘Twitch’, an option reserved only for this Tuesday in the special direct that the journalist Siro López has made on his channel between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and in which the fans could also vote saying the name of your favorite player in the chat.

In addition, the ACB will have two days, May 2 and 9, between 11:00 and 21:00, where votes will count double, both those cast on social networks and through the ‘app’, while those who vote on ‘Twitter’ on April 28 and May 5 and 12, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., up to six official Endesa League team shirts will be entered into the draw.

The ACB also recalled that only the first vote issued each day on the social network profile will be counted, while if it is done through the ‘app’, you can vote once per device every 24 hours.

To form the ‘Best Quintet’, its members will be the highest ranked players in each position (point guards, forwards and centers) in the #MVPMovistar vote and will be made up of a point guard, a point guard/forward (the shooting guard will be the one with the most votes between the 2nd base and the 2nd most voted forward), one forward and two centers.

The list of candidates for the popular vote includes the 25 most valued bases, 25 forwards and 25 centers at the end of the games on Sunday, April 17, “as long as they meet the need to have played (or be able to play) at least 50 percent of his team’s games.
