DIEGO LÓPEZ – Insurance
He successfully solved the situations in which the Barça attackers put him to the test.
ALEIX VIDAL – Shy
Due to the demands of the script (and the rival) he was much more defensive than on other occasions.
SERGI GÓMEZ – Flawless
Sure in the pass the times he had to create from behind, at the time of disrupting the rival danger he did not make a single mistake.
CABRERA – Concentrate
As he has been a ‘house brand’, at all times he was focused on his mission.
PEDROSA – Daring
Unlike Aleix Vidal, he did reach the rival area on more than one occasion.
DAVID LÓPEZ – Disciplined
He formed as a pivot but became a third center back every time Barça had the ball. He made no big mistakes.
EMBARBA – Bold
From his boots came a couple of attempts in which he wanted to put Ter Stegen in check although things did not go as expected.
YANGEL HERRERA – Worker
In attack he could not contribute everything he wanted, but in the retreat he was disciplined and did not miss too much.
DARDER – Creative
Despite being a first half in which the initiative was taken by Barça, when he touched the ball he tried to shake the hornet’s nest.
JAVI PUADO – Obedient
He had to work on defense more than he wanted, but he did it in a disciplined and correct manner.
OF TOMAS – Dangerous
He signed the clearest scoring opportunity for Espanyol in the first half. He made trouble for Mingueza and ended up shooting on goal, although his shot ended up being blocked.
