CD Tenerife finished the winter market with two signings and two departures. Regarding transfers, Andrés Martín and Mario González are the novelties signed by the entity’s sports director, Juan Carlos Cordero, to reinforce the offensive section of the Tenerife team.
The first to arrive was the Andalusian Andrés Martín, from Rayo Vallecano on loan and with which he achieved promotion to the First Division in the 2020/2021 season and scored six goals. In addition, Martín already had minutes last Sunday in the victory of the canaries by 1-2 against SD Ponferradina in El Toralín.
The second and last new face in the Tenerife dressing room is Mario González, whose signing was confirmed yesterday afternoon. The Castilian-Leon striker is on loan from SC Braga of the Portuguese First Division with whom he has played 25 games between the league and the Europa League.
As for the casualties chapter, the Canarian squad released Alberto Jiménez and Emmanuel Apeh. The Majorero footballer left on loan to Albacete Balompié where he coincides with Alfonso Serrano, former technical secretary of CD Tenerife. For its part, Apeh left on loan to AD Alcorcón until the end of the season.
