Four Spanish tennis players begin this Tuesday the preliminary phase of the Wimbledon tournament (on Monday the day was suspended due to rain) with the aim of being in the final table that starts on June 28.
Mario Vilella, Bernabé Zapata, Carlos Taberner and Tommy Robredo start this Tuesday in the Roehampton complex outside London.
Vilella faces Russian Andrey Kuznetsov; Taberner to the Argentine Andrea Collarini; Robredo to the Czech Tomas Machac and Zapata to the Italian Alessandro Gianessi.
To be in the final draw at Wimbledon they will have to win three games. The dispute of the day on Monday had to be suspended due to the rain that is raining these days on the British capital and that already forced the total cancellation of the day of the Birmingham tournament last Friday.

In the preview of the women's draw there will be six Spanish tennis players who will seek a pass to the final table of Wimbledon, for which Garbiñe Muguruza, Paula Badosa, Sara Sorribes, Carla Suárez and Aliona Bolsava already have. Lara Arruabarrena is measured with the Croatian Jana Fett; Georgina García Pérez meets with the Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina; Nuria Parrizas, with the French Jessica Ponchet; Irene Burillo, with the Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova; Cristina Bucsa, with the Romanian Irina Bara; and Esther Guerrero, with the French Ocean Dodin.
