Ten and Garrote lead the Spanish Paralympic road cycling team for the World Cup

The Spanish Paralympic cycling coach, Félix García Casas, has summoned Ricardo Ten and Sergio Garrote this Friday along with 11 other riders for the road race during the World Championship, which will be held from August 3 to 13 in Glasgow (Scotland). ) along with the rest of the disciplines (with the exception of cyclocross).

In a press release, the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC) has indicated that the Spanish team “will travel to the great objective and event of the year with the goal of taking an important step” in the process of obtaining places for the next Paralympic Games of Paris 2024.

Specifically, Paralympic road cycling will take place from August 9 to 13 under a program that will include time trial, line and team relay events. Thus, Spain will have six bicycles: Ricardo Ten (C1), Maurice Eckhard (C2), Luis Javier Arcega (C2), Eduardo Santas (C3), Julio Enrique Bermejo (C4), Damián Ramos (C5).

In addition, the Spanish delegation will have two tricycles: Gonzalo García-Abella (T1) and Joan Reinoso (T2); three handbikers: Sergio Garrote (H2), Luis Miguel García-Marquina (H3) and Martín Berchesi (H4); and two tandems: Christian Venge-Eloy Teruel (B) and Joan Sansó-Fran García Rus (B).
