51 points from the Celtics star in Game 7

MADRID, 15 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Boston Celtics sealed their pass to the NBA Eastern Conference final by beating Philadelphia 76ers (112-88) in the seventh and final game of the semifinal playoff, led by a stratospheric Jayson Tatum, author of 51 points.

The American forward improved on the historic feat of Stephen Curry, who two weeks ago scored 50 points in the Warriors’ Game 7 to eliminate Sacramento. Tatum sent the Celtics to the Eastern final against the Miami Heat, while in the West the final will be the Denver Nuggets against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 76ers, who lost the chance to seal the series at home in Game 6, returned to Boston with energy to dominate the start, but in the second quarter, the TD Garden began to enjoy a good version of their team (23- 32).

After the break, a Tatum finished exploding that left the last quarter without history to confirm the comeback in the series of some Celtics who recover their favoritism to the ring. Joel Embiid, a season MVP with no solutions, and James Harden weren’t up to the task in a bitter finish for Philadelphia.
