only ten days away Tamara Falco e Inigo Onieva of giving the expected ‘yes, I do’ after three years of relationship, a stormy breakup due to his infidelity, and a highly commented reconciliation. With the slate clean already done, on July 8 they will celebrate their wedding in front of more than 400 guests at the El Rincón palace.
“I am very happy. We are taking advantage of these weeks to close the last details, enjoying every moment and phase. In the end, it is a stage that you only live once and, although we are striving so that everything goes perfectly, the important thing about this celebration is the Sacramento. So, when I lose my way a bit, I remember what really matters”, says the Marquise de Griñón in Hola about his feelings ahead of the big day.
The link has been described as ‘jinxed’ due to various situations that have occurred in the midst of the preparations: Tamara had gastroenteritis after a pre-wedding trip to Indonesia; she sprained it at her bachelorette party; they had to delay the initial date of the celebration for the birth of their cousin’s firstborn Alvaro Falco e Isabelle Junot and even urgently resort to Carolina Herrera for the wedding dress because Sophie and Voila, the firm he had chosen to dress her that day, stood him up. However, so that bad weather does not become another problem that day, the Madrid businessman has already brought the traditional eggs to the nuns of Santa Clara: “Two dozen and organic!” He says with a laugh.
Íñigo “is very involved”. And it is that he has had to put his batteries to win back the woman who had to see how the country, and even outside our borders, commented on the famous video in which he kissed another girl at a music festival two weeks before ask to marry. “I see him happy. The truth is that it is being a very beautiful moment for both of us and we are enjoying it together, that is the important thing,” Tamara acknowledges.
The timing of the three days of celebration
The wedding of the year will take place over a full weekend. On Friday, July 7, the couple will receive all the guests from outside Madrid and abroad with a dinner at the exclusive Ritz hotel. After enjoying a menu with a Spanish flavor, they will dance “flamenquito” until one in the morning.
On Saturday, July 8, the religious ceremony is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Father Cruz, Tamara’s spiritual guide, in one of the palace courtyards. The guests will see the Corner in its maximum splendor due to the works that have been underway for several months and that day 250 people will work so that everything goes perfectly. At the ceremony, “a group of musicians and a twelve-voice choir will perform classical and religious music of special significance for the newlyweds.”
After the ‘yes, I want’, they will serve the cocktail in the gardens, enlivened by live music and there will be a show cooking live “with a great staging”. A whole show to which they will put the finishing touch with a dinner prepared by the chef Eneko Atxa and served on tables “decorated with many candles”. The newlyweds’ dance is scheduled for midnight, at which time the second dress that Tamara will wear will be unveiled. They will then toast with Moët & Chandon champagne and “dance with a foreign band and a well-known DJ.” On the afternoon of Sunday the 9th, Tamara and Íñigo will say goodbye to their guests from outside the same hotel mentioned above.
