Thanks to the swift action of the emergency services and Captain Simon Kjaer, Danish Captain Christian Eriksen saved his life. This was explained by Martin Boesen, the doctor from Denmark who detailed what the moments of maximum tension were like.

Eriksen is stable and is going to undergo further tests to be able to figure out what happened to him. The Danish doctor also said that he does not believe it was a heart attack, which opens the possibility that he had suffered some other type of collapse. In the next few days the matter may be further clarified.
