Stindl's hat trick saves Borussia M’gladbach

A hat trick by Lars Stindl (the second goal in the 90th minute and the third in the 95th minute) prevented his team, Borussia Mönchengladbach (Pep Guardiola's Manchester City rival in the last 16 of the Champions League), from losing at home to Eintrascht Frankfurt in a match corresponding to the 12th round of the Bundesliga (3-3).

This draw places Marco Rose's team within 7 points of the new leader of the German championship, Bayer Leverkusen. The one who was Real Madrid's rival in the Champions League has only achieved one victory, by four draws and one defeat, in the Bundesliga, 7 points in 6 games.

Stindl advanced Borussia M’gladbach with a superb free kick (14 ”). Eintracht Frankfurt turned the score around in 12 minutes. André Silva scored (double, in the 21 'penalty and 24'), and Aymen Barkok (32 ', a great goal). But a penalty in the 90 'allowed Stindl to close the gap and in the 95'. After a cross from Ibrahima Traoré, M’gladbach captain Stindl himself headed in and gave his team a point.
