Steven Gerrard signs a Leicester pearl

The Rangers, whose coach is the legendary former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, have announced that young Leicester defender Calvin Bassey has signed a pre-contract to join the Scottish club in the summer market. Bassey is 20 years old and will sign for four seasons for Rangers. It will be incorporated when the summer market opens.

Bassey can play center-back and left-back. Gerrard said that “many teams were interested in Calvin and for us it is a great satisfaction to ensure the services of another young talent.”

“He is a strong and dynamic athlete, the modern central classic. He is left-handed, physically powerful, and likes to drive the ball. Appropriate for the combative nature of Scottish football ”, said Gerrard about who will be his player this summer.

Bassey, for his part, said: “When I started conversations with Rangers I knew it was the right club for me. I am very grateful to Leicester for everything he has done for me and now very excited to play under Gerrard and continue my progression. ”
