The match between Real Sporting de Gijón and Deportivo Alavés this Sunday, on matchday 36 of LaLiga SmartBank, has been declared a high-risk match by Antiviolencia, according to a statement issued by the Higher Sports Council (CSD).
“The Permanent State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport has agreed to declare the Real Sporting-Deportivo Alavés match of HIGH RISK, corresponding to matchday 36 of the Second Division, to be held on 16 April 2023,” the agency announced.
The El Molinón-Enrique Castro ‘Quini’ Stadium will be the scene of a duel in which the locals finish twelfth with 44 points, in the quiet area, while the Basques are fourth, with 61, in the middle of the fight for direct promotion to the First Division .
