Spain’s path to the European Championship

Spain has qualified as undefeated for the final phase of this European Championship, with eight games played in which it has added seven wins and one draw due to no losses conceded.

Her best performance at a Euro was reaching the semi-finals 25 years ago, in 1997. She reached the round of 16 of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, but will have higher hopes at this summer’s tournament as her players they have come on in leaps and bounds and are seeking a national team title after their successes at club level.
