MADRID 17 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

This Tuesday, the Spanish men’s futsal team added its second victory in the qualifying phase for the 2026 European Championship after beating Bosnia-Herzegovina 6-1 in a match played at the Palacio de los Deportes in Cartagena (Murcia).

After winning decisively in their first away game, 0-8 against Switzerland, the national team continues to strengthen its new project under the guidance of Jesús Velasco and did not have too many problems to achieve a successful victory in the first half.

Spain had a hard time opening the scoring, but dealt two almost consecutive blows to the Bosnians with goals from Cecilio, Bebe and Pablo Ramírez in the 8th, 10th and 13th minutes, respectively. The visitors did not react and at half-time the surprise was complicated by conceding a little more from Renato.

In the second half, Bosnia-Herzegovina preferred to try to prevent the rout from becoming greater and managed to keep the score from increasing until the final stages. Esteban made it 5-1 and immediately the Bosnians made up the score through Gosto, Antonio closing the rout for a team that will return to action on February 4 against England.
