The Spanish team, made up of Joel Plata, Néstor Abad, Nicolau Mir, Thierno Diallo and Ray Zapata, won sixth place on Wednesday in the men’s team final of the World Cup being played in the English city of Liverpool.

Spain confirmed the sixth position with which it advanced to the final the previous day, with a score of 244,027 and equaling its best historical result achieved in 2007, in a final won by China, ahead of Japan and Great Britain.

The best performance of the Spanish team came with a 42,265 at the bars, with Diallo (14,266), Mir (13,733) and Plata (14,266). In floor and jump, Spain was also among the best, to stalk the fifth place of the United States (245.692).
