Spain goes back to Finland before starting the road to the 2024 World Cup

MADRID, 8 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish futsal team came from behind (3-1) this Friday against Finland in a friendly held at the Municipal Sports Center of Tomelloso, a hard-fought victory with a goal from debutant Pablo Ramírez.

Spain, which returned to action after losing the Finalissima against Portugal last month, went from less to more and the goals did not come until the second half, although Sergio Lozano crashed with the post after three minutes.

Pikkarainen put the Finns ahead and the visiting defense became strong until at times tying up the Spanish attack until Adolfo sent another ball to the post. Fede Vidal’s men increased the intensity after the break and Lozano made it 1-1 in the 28th minute.

Ramírez scored 2-1 in his debut and Chino made the sentence two minutes from the end. Spain will face Moldova on Tuesday, at the Vicente Paniagua pavilion in Alcázar de San Juan, at the start of the qualifying phase for the 2024 World Cup.
