Victory by 64-78 in the quarterfinals against the selection of Türkiye

The Spanish under-18 women’s basketball team qualified this Thursday for the Eurobasket semifinals of the category, which is taking place in the city of Konya (Turkey), thanks to its 64-78 victory against the host team.

The Asturian point guard Iyana Martín was the most outstanding for Spain facing the hoop, according to her 24 points scored and her 25 valuation credits. The Aragonese center Ariadna Termis also excelled, with 17 points in her baggage to offset the 25 scored by point guard Ceren Akpinar on the Turkish side.

Taking the lead on the scoreboard throughout the match on the Konya Sports Complex court, the players coached by Cristina Cantero gradually increased their advantage until they secured the victory, with hardly any hassles, and thus entered the fight for the medals.
