Spain draws with Portugal (1-1) on the third day of the women’s European Championship

MADRID, 14 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish women’s roller hockey team tied this Thursday against Portugal (1-1) on the third day of the European Championship, which is being held in the Portuguese town of Luso (Mealhada) and in which the players of Ricard Muñoz defend qualification.

Spain, who arrived at the meeting after beating Italy (6-0) and England (13-0) in the first two days, could not go beyond the draw in their third match, a very balanced duel in which Anna Casarramona scored for the Spanish women and the young Raquel Santos did it for the local team.

In the second half everything could happen, but finally the level that leaves Spain in the second position of the group, with a game less than Portugal, which leads with three points of advantage, was maintained. Ricard Muñoz’s players will play again this Thursday against France.
