Spain defeats Canada and will play in the final of La Vila International Cup

The Spanish rugby team beat Canada (42-20) this Saturday and next they will play against the United States in the final of the La Vila International Cup at the El Pantano stadium.

The duel, which the Lions got back on track in the first half, was played after the United States’ 48-3 victory over Brazil. After a year of transition, Spain settled in Villajoyosa with its new coach, Pablo Bouza, still in the background.

Alvar Gimeno and Martiniano Cian increased the lead to a resounding 35-6, but in the second half, Canada managed to recover with some relaxation in the Lions (35-20). Marcos Muñiz. and Mateu transforming, they added another seven for Spain and left a better taste in the mouth of the host.
