MADRID, 23 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
César Soto Grado from Avila will replace this Wednesday (10:00 p.m.) the Galician Ignacio Iglesias Villanueva at the head of the VAR of the match between Real Betis and Getafe CF, as announced by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in a statement.
“By decision of the Technical Commission of the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) of the RFEF, there is a change in the VAR designation of the Real Betis Balompié-Getafe CF match, corresponding to matchday 36 of the First Division. For this reason, César Soto Grado replaces Nacho Iglesias Villanueva”, announced the federal entity.
Iglesias Villanueva was in charge of the video arbitration in the game last Sunday between Valencia and Real Madrid. In the duel, the Brazilian Vinícius Júnior, who received racist insults from the stands, was sent off by De Burgos Bengoetxea after the Galician referee warned from the VOR room that the carioca had hit the Valencian player Hugo Duro in the face.
In addition, the RFEF reported that Ángel Nevado Rodríguez will replace Iglesias Villanueva himself as AVAR in the match between CA Osasuna and Athletic Club this Thursday (9:30 p.m.), also on matchday 36 of LaLiga Santander.
