Some Pelicans without Willy Hernangómez take revenge on the Rockets of Usman Garuba

MADRID, 20 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Usman Garuba’s Houston Rockets returned to the last place in the Western Conference after falling this morning against Willy Hernangómez’s New Orleans Pelicans (107-117), who again ran out of minutes in the second game in a row against the Texans.

The Rockets, who the previous day had managed to prevail over those from Louisiana (114-112), interrupted a series of three consecutive victories to sink as bottom team in the West (18-53), together with their defeat to the triumph of San Antonio Spurs (19 -52); the Pelicans (34-37) are twelfth, outside of the ‘Playin’ spots, in the same conference.

Power forward Usman Garuba once again had minutes with the Texan franchise, although he could not face Willy Hernangómez on the court, who still does not enjoy the confidence of coach Willie Green.

In his almost 11 minutes of participation, the Castilian-La Mancha player scored a point from the free throw line, did not make field goals and grabbed five rebounds.
