Sharon Stone He does not have good memories of his work in basic instinct. That crossing of the legs of the actress in the famous 1992 film influenced a judge to decide to take away custody of her son, Roanthen four years old, due to the sexual charge of the feature film directed by Paul Verhoeven.

This is how the American artist has related it in the podcast Table for two: “I lost custody of my son. The judge asked my child, my little one, if he knew that his mother made sexual films. That type of systemic abuse. I was considered a certain type of mother for having made that film.”
All of this occurred during the trial between Stone and her ex-husband, Phil Bronstein, from whom she divorced in 2004, and who used those seconds of the scene to question her role as a mother. “People go around naked on TV these days, but I was seen as one-sixteenth of a second naked,” she laments.
According to the testimony of the famous actress, that moment was one of the worst of her life: “I was admitted to the clinic with ventricular extrasystole in the upper and lower chambers of the heart. It broke my heart. It literally broke my heart.” It should be remembered that a couple of years ago, in her memories, she revealed that she was “tricked” not to wear underwear in said scene. “I just need you to take off your panties because white reflects light,” was the order she was given on set.
