Seven teams oppose Liverpool and United revolution

The revolution raised by Liverpool and United is destined to fail. At least in the short term. The secret talks between both clubs to thoroughly reform English football have not pleased seven Premier teams, who according to the Daily Mail would oppose the project.

After the public rejection of the Premier and the Government once the intentions of Liverpool and United were aired, Leeds, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton, West Bromwich, Burnley, Sheffield and Fulham are aligned against the proposal. All of them are furious about the secret way in which the idea has been carried out.

Liverpool and United want an 18-team Premier and eliminate the League Cup and the Community Shield, among many other measures.

The other greats (City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal) for the moment are silent waiting for how the issue develops, although some say they were aware of the intentions of the architects of the proposal.

Despite the widespread rejection, the Premier wants to hold a meeting in the next few days to study the ideas of Liverpool and United, as the Mirror tells.
