The hysteria unleashed by the alleged supply problems caused by the coronavirus seems to have fully touched the footballers of the Naples. On Monday night, Fernando Llorente, Jos Callejn and David Ospina were caught waiting in line for a 24-hour supermarket.

The two Spanish internationals, accompanied by the Colombian goalkeeper, were identified by the fans, despite trying to go unnoticed with their hoods. The first photographs, taken in the vicinity of the Corso Europa of the Neapolitan city, were published on Wednesday by the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.

It must be remembered that Naples will not be able to play their Serie A match against Hellas Verona on Friday, their last commitment prior to the second round of the Champions League against Barcelona. However, the duel at the Camp Nou, which was originally scheduled behind closed doors, is also in serious danger.

Two weeks without games

This Wednesday, UEFA confirmed the suspension of the two Europa League matches (Inter-Getafe and Seville-Rome), given that the authorities had not given their approval as communications between Italy and Spain were canceled.

In this way, the squad led by Gennaro Gattuso has spent almost two weeks exercising only in training. Their last game dates from February 29, with a 2-1 win over Torino in San Paolo.
