Sergio Rico: “I continue working on my recovery, which is getting better every day”

The Spanish goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain, Sergio Rico, has assured that he continues “working” on his “recovery”, after suffering an accident with a horse in El Rocío at the end of May, and has thanked all the people that they have sent their “love” in “these very complicated days”.

“I wanted to thank each and every one of the people who have shown me and sent their love in these difficult days. I continue working on my recovery, which is getting better every day. I feel very lucky. Once again, thank you all and I hope be able to see you soon”, he pointed out in his official account of the social network Instagram.

The Sevillian goalkeeper suffered an accident on May 28 while riding in a car and because of a runaway horse in El Rocío, for which he had to be admitted to the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in serious condition.

In total, the former Sevilla and RCD Mallorca soccer player has spent five weeks admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) until he left it just a few days ago. Even so, he is still admitted to the hospital.
