MADRID, 8 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Spanish defender Sergio Ramos will travel with the group called up by Mauricio Pochettino, including Kylian Mbappé, for this Wednesday’s second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu despite not being able to play.
The Andalusian central defender is injured and, like the first leg, he will not be able to play against his former team. At the moment, he has to carry out “individual” training until the end of the week, but PSG confirmed that he “will travel with the squad to Madrid”.
In addition, in the list of 24 summoned by Mauricio Pochettino there are no surprises and forward Kylian Mbappé will be there, waiting to know the real state of his left foot, which suffered a blow in training on Monday after a challenge from Idrissa Gueye.
“The player has been taking care of the area since yesterday. The clinical examination was reassuring and new medical information will be made during the day,” warned the Parisian team, who hope they will not have any problems having their star in this important match.
On the other hand, neither midfielder Ander Herrera, suffering from conjunctivitis, nor winger Juan Bernat, due to a technical decision, will be at the Santiago Bernabéu.
