Sergio Ramos goes down again with PSG due to “muscle fatigue”

MADRID, 3 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Paris Saint-Germain player Sergio Ramos will not be able to be in this Saturday’s match against Lens due to “muscle fatigue”, after debuting with the French club less than a week ago, after 207 days without playing a football match, as reported by PSG in a statement.

“Sergio Ramos’s workload has been adapted to muscle fatigue after returning to competition and he will resume training with the group on Sunday,” the PSG statement said on Friday.

The Spanish defender has already missed last Wednesday’s game against Nice, so at least he will not return until next Tuesday’s game in the Champions League against Belgian Brugge.

PSG also reported that Brazilian forward Neymar continues to recover from his ankle. “His sprain will require new examinations in the middle of next week to specify the duration of his absence,” the club detailed.

In addition, PSG will not be able to count this weekend on the Spanish Ander Herrera, who suffered an injury against Manchester City in the Champions League and will return to training on Sunday, and Julian Draxler, who continues with his recovery and will not be in the dynamic group for at least two weeks.
