Serbian center Dusan Miletic signs for Basketball Girona

BARCELONA, 24 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Serbian center Dusan Miletic, 24 years old and 2.14 meters tall, signed this Wednesday for Bàsquet Girona, from Partizan Belgrade, for the Catalan team’s debut season in the Endesa League.

“Dusan Miletic is a big five with very good legs and speed that will help us complete our inside game. In addition, he arrives with a special desire to play after a season in which the strong competition at Partizan has deprived him of having the minutes that he deserved”, highlighted the sports director of Girona, Jordi Plà i Comas.

The pivot made his debut in the ranks of KK Polet of the Serbian highest category and the ABA (2017-18). Later he played in the KK Sloga, in the same competitions (2018-19). A year later he joined Partizan Belgrade, where he left on loan to KK Borac Cacak (2019-21), who competed in the first division of Serbia and the ABA.

Last season he returned to Partizan to also debut in the Eurocup. Thus, the Serbian is added to the arrivals of Quino Colón, Pato Garino, Pol Figueras, Roko Prkacin, Kameron Taylor and Ondrej Hanzlik and the continuity of Jaume Sorolla, Josep Franch, Maxi Fjellerup and Èric Vila.
